September 26, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), saw Great Bridge's volleyball squad beat Lakeland by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Great Bridge upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Bruins in a Southeastern bout on Thursday, September 28. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Western Branch lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)
The Cavaliers now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Grassfield for a Southeastern bout on Thursday, September 28. Lakeland will play a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-0 league win over King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 7-3.
