October 5, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434 In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Deep Creek Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Lakeland Cavaliers.
The Hornets (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats come into the Southeastern battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Great Bridge defeated Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Cavaliers encounter the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Lakeland will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The Bruins come into the battle with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league win over King's Fork (Suffolk, VA).
