Virginia High School Volleyball - Deep Creek Western Branch
September 19, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23321 The Western Branch Bruins volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Deep Creek Hornets to 1 in the Bruins league victory on Tuesday.
The Bruins now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory for a Southeastern game on Thursday, September 21. Western Branch will meet a Hawks team coming off a 3-2 league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 6-4.
The Hornets (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies enter the Southeastern game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Grassfield was dropped by Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 3-2, in a league game.
