The Riverton Hawks volleyball team (Riverton, IL), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL)

The Cougars (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Athens (Athens, IL). The Warriors come into the Tomahawk challenge with a 15-6 record. In their last challenge, Athens nudged Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
