North Carolina High School Volleyball - Porter Ridge crushed by Sun Valley

The Sun Valley Spartans topped the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Spartans now have a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Iredell for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 27. Sun Valley will confront a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 10-6.

The Pirates (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks enter the Southern Carolina 4A test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Marvin Ridge gained a win over Weddington (Matthews, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
