September 26, 2024: Richmond, VA 23229 Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Freeman improves its record to 9-1 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Midlothian (Midlothian, VA) to face the Trojans in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 1-2.
The Tigers now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glen Allen for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1.
