September 26, 2024: Campbellsville, KY 42718 Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY), 21-15 in a league battle.
With the win, Taylor County advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY) to battle the Lakers in a 4A District 7 contest on Friday, October 4. The Lakers enter the contest with a record of 3-3. Russell County lost 30-28 in their recent non-league contest against East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY)
