With the triumph, Mater Academy East Las Vegas advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Desert Shields in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Desert Shields come into the test with a record of 0-6. Cheyenne lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Chaparral (Las Vegas, NV)
The Trojans now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sports Leadership & Management for a test on Tuesday, October 8. Pahrump Valley will clash with a Bulls team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV). The Bulls record now stands at 1-3.
