Maryland High School Soccer - Glenelg knocks off Wilde Lake
September 26, 2024: Columbia, MD 21044 The Glenelg Gladiators soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Wilde Lake Wildecats to 0 in the Gladiators league victory on Thursday.
The Gladiators now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a Howard County bout on Tuesday, October 1. Glenelg will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Wilde Lake moves to 3-3 on the year. The Wildecats travel to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD) to play the Scorpions in a Howard County bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Oakland Mills lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Hammond (Columbia, MD)
