September 26, 2024: Summersville, WV 26651 Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV), 3-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Nicholas County advances its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to PikeView (Princeton, WV) to clash with the Panthers in a Coalfield AA test on Tuesday, October 1. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 9-4. PikeView lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV)
The Patriots now have a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they host Pocahontas County for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. Midland Trail will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.
