September 26, 2024: Grain Valley, MO 64029 The Grain Valley Eagles softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Belton Pirates to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 24-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Bridge for a non-league battle on Friday, September 27. Grain Valley will confront a Bruins team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Hickman (Columbia, MO). The Bruins record now stands at 15-5.
With the loss, Belton moves to 12-6 on the season. The Pirates host Platte County (Platte City, MO) to confront the Pirates in a non-league battle on Monday, September 30. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 12-5. Platte County won 15-0 in their recent non-league battle against Ruskin (Kansas City, MO)
