September 26, 2024: Colonia, NJ 07067 J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, J.P. Stevens improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Hawks host South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ) to face the Vikings in a Greater Middlesex - Red test on Tuesday, October 1. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 1-8. South Brunswick lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ)
The Patriots now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Brunswick for a Greater Middlesex - Red test on Tuesday, October 1. Colonia will face a Bears squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Bears record now stands at 4-11.
