September 26, 2024: Colts Neck, NJ 07722 Colts Neck Cougars (Colts Neck, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Liberty Lions (Jackson, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Colts Neck improves its record to 7-5 on the season. The Cougars host Howell (Farmingdale, NJ) to face the Rebels in a Shore A - North test on Friday, September 27. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 7-5. Howell lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Marlboro (Marlboro, NJ)
The Lions now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinelands Regional for a Shore B - South test on Friday, September 27. Liberty will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-2.
