September 26, 2024: LaPlace, LA 70068 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) and the visiting East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA), observed St. Charles Catholic's volleyball team top East St. John by a count of 3-0.
The Comets (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (Crowley, LA). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame notched a victory over Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Wildcats battle the Abramson Commodores (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 30. East St. John will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Commodores enter the contest with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over International (New Orleans, LA).
