North Carolina High School Volleyball - Falls Lake over Raleigh Charter
September 26, 2024: Creedmoor, NC 27522 Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) and the visiting Raleigh Charter Phoenix (Raleigh, NC), witnessed Falls Lake's volleyball team gain a win over Raleigh Charter by a margin of 3-0.
The Firebirds now possess a 16-2 record. They play next when they travel to Franklinton for a non-league bout on Monday, September 30. Falls Lake will clash with a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league win over Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC). The Rams record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Raleigh Charter drops to 1-11 on the campaign. The Phoenix host East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Super Six 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 13-2. East Wake Academy won 3-0 in their recent league bout against NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC)
