The Southern Wayne Saints volleyball squad (Dudley, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC)

With the win, Hunt improves its record to 10-7 on the season. The Warriors travel to East Wake (Wendell, NC) to encounter the Warriors in a Quad County 3A battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 4-11. East Wake lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against West Johnston (Benson, NC)

The Saints now own a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Johnston for a Quad County 3A battle on Monday, September 30. Southern Wayne will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 13-5.
