The Independence Patriots topped the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Patriots face the Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 30. Independence will attempt to advance on its 11-11 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ).
