The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Columbia Central Golden Eagles (Brooklyn, MI) and the host Addison Panthers (Addison, MI), witnessed Columbia Central's football squad topple Addison by a count of 56-26.

The Golden Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Vandercook Lake (Jackson, MI). The Jayhawks enter the Cascades - West contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Vandercook Lake was outscored by Homer (Homer, MI), 14-12, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Jonesville Comets (Jonesville, MI) in a Cascades - West battle, on Friday, October 3. Addison will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Comets go into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 28-14 league loss to Hanover-Horton (Horton, MI).
