The Americas Trail Blazers felled the visiting Parkland Matadors football team by a score of 35-16 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Trail Blazers meet the El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 1 test, on Friday, October 3. Americas will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Aztecs come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 70-28 league win over Bel Air (El Paso, TX).

With the defeat, Parkland drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Matadors host Bel Air (El Paso, TX) to meet the Highlanders in a 5A-1 Region I District 1 game on Friday, October 3.
