The Columbus Academy Vikings football squad scored 40 points and limited the host Bexley Lions to 20 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Franklin Heights for a Central Buckeye League challenge on Friday, October 3. Columbus Academy will face a Falcons team coming off a 17-14 league win over Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 4-2.
The Lions (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitehall-Yearling (Whitehall, OH). The Rams go into the Central Buckeye League test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Whitehall-Yearling was defeated by Bishop Ready (Columbus, OH), 20-13, in a league test.
