The Xaverian Brothers Hawks football team (Westwood, MA), was topped 28-20 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA)

With the win, Central advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Westfield (Westfield, MA) to encounter the Bombers in a AA bout on Friday, October 3. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Westfield lost 34-12 in their recent non-league bout against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI)
