The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Chaparral Cowboys (Las Vegas, NV), saw Valley's football team nip Chaparral by a final score of 19-16.

The Vikings (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV). The Grizzlies come into the 4A Southern - Lake challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Spring Valley was edged by Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV), 34-0, in a league challenge.
