Nevada High School Football - Chaparral falls to Sierra Vista

September 19, 2025: Las Vegas, NV 89121

The Sierra Vista Mountain Lions felled the host Chaparral Cowboys football team by a score of 21-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions face the Del Sol Dragons (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Southern - Lake test, on Friday, September 26. Sierra Vista will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 55-0 league loss to Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV).

With the defeat, Chaparral drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Valley (Las Vegas, NV) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Valley won 33-20 in their recent league challenge against Pinecrest Academy Cadence (Henderson, NV)
