Pennsylvania High School Football - Chartiers Valley smashes Laurel Highlands

September 26, 2025: Uniontown, PA 15401

The Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) football trounced the host Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA), 55-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Colts now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Belle Vernon for a WPIAL AAAA Big Six outing on Friday, October 3. Chartiers Valley will clash with a Leopards squad coming off a 14-10 league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA). The Leopards record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Laurel Highlands drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Ringgold (Monongahela, PA) to clash with the Rams in a WPIAL AAAA Big Six game on Friday, October 3. The Rams enter the game with a record of 3-3. Ringgold lost 48-14 in their recent league game against Trinity (Washington, PA)
