In Friday's non-league game, the Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA) football team overcame the host Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA), by a tally of 19-6.

The Lancers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to McClatchy for a Metropolitan outing on Friday, October 3. Cordova will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 32-10 league loss to Antelope (Antelope, CA). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Kennedy drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Viewpoint (Calabasas, CA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4.
