Texas High School Football - Covenant Christian succumbs to Southwest Christian School

The Southwest Christian School Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) football knocked off the host Covenant Christian Cougars (Colleyville, TX), 63-48 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Eagles now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Midland Christian for a TAPPS Division II District 1 outing on Friday, October 10. Southwest Christian School will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 41-13 non-league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Covenant Christian drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Covenant (Dallas, TX) to battle the Knights in a non-league contest on Friday, October 3. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 2-2. Covenant won 48-20 in their recent non-league contest against Sacred Heart (Muenster, TX)
