Indiana High School Football - Delta nips New Castle

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) and the visiting New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN), witnessed Delta's football squad edge New Castle by a final score of 27-20.

With the win, Delta advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN) to encounter the Arabians in a Hoosier Heritage bout on Friday, October 3. The Arabians go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Pendleton Heights won 56-13 in their recent league bout against Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN)

The Trojans now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Mt. Vernon for a Hoosier Heritage bout on Friday, October 3. New Castle will encounter a Marauders team coming off a 56-13 league loss to Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Marauders record now stands at 0-6.
