The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM), witnessed Eldorado's football squad knock off Santa Fe by a tally of 53-38.

The Golden Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears go into the 6A District 2 bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, La Cueva beat West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM), 49-0, in a league bout.

The Demons now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy for a 6A District 2 contest on Saturday, October 11.
