The Rolling Meadows Mustangs walloped the host Elk Grove Grenadiers football team by a score of 48-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs play the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge, on Friday, October 3. Rolling Meadows will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Bison come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 50-7 league loss to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL).

With the defeat, Elk Grove drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Grenadiers travel to Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL) to meet the Huskies in a Mid-Suburban - East test on Friday, October 3.
