The Herbert Hoover Huskies overwhelmed the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks football squad by a margin of 46-7 in Friday's non-league test.

The Huskies now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Charleston for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Herbert Hoover will clash with a Black Eagles squad coming off a 69-67 league loss to Capital (Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Point Pleasant drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Big blacks travel to Nitro (Nitro, WV) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, October 3. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-1. Nitro won 48-6 in their recent league game against Ripley (Ripley, WV)
