The Thrall Tigers football team (Thrall, TX), was outscored 41-18 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Johnson City Eagles (Johnson City, TX)

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against San Saba (San Saba, TX). The Armadillos enter the 2A-1 Region IV District 14 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, San Saba thwarted Hamilton (Hamilton, TX), 17-14, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Hempstead Bobcats (Hempstead, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 3. Thrall will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 26-23 non-league loss to Thorndale (Thorndale, TX).
