Texas High School Football - Wylie tops Legacy

September 26, 2025: Wichita Falls, TX 76302

The Wylie Bulldogs football squad scored 45 points and limited the host Legacy Leopards to 24 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cooper for a 5A-2 Region I District 2 test on Friday, October 3. Wylie will face a Cougars team coming off a 42-27 league win over Memorial (Wichita Falls, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.

The Leopards (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX). The Pirates go into the 5A-2 Region I District 2 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Lubbock-Cooper lost by Plainview (Plainview, TX), 37-22, in a league challenge.
