The Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) football trounced the host Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV), 47-12 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Seminoles now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shenandoah for a Ohio Valley AA game on Friday, October 3. Monroe Central will battle a Zeps team coming off a 30-12 non-league win over Shadyside (Shadyside, OH). The Zeps record now stands at 3-3.

The Blue Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Tyler (Sistersville, WV). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Tyler smashed Cameron (Cameron, WV), 14-12, in a league bout.
