With the win, Monroe Central advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Seminoles travel to Caldwell (Caldwell, OH) to encounter the Redskins in a Ohio Valley AA bout on Friday, September 12. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Caldwell lost 43-20 in their recent non-league bout against Tuslaw (Massillon, OH)

The Pilots now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Magnolia for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. River will play a Blue Eagles team coming off a 47-12 non-league loss to Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
