The Marfa Shorthorns felled the visiting Sanderson Eagles football team by a score of 29-18 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Shorthorns meet the Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys (Grandfalls, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 3. Marfa will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Cowboys come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 57-12 non-league win over Holy Cross (Midland, TX).
