The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Meridian Warriors (Meridian, ID) and the visiting Middleton Vikings (Middleton, ID), witnessed Meridian's football squad edge Middleton by a tally of 21-20.

The Warriors (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Rocky Mountain (Meridian, ID). The Grizzlies go into the 6A Southern Idaho bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Rocky Mountain nudged Centennial (Boise, ID), 41-7, in a league bout.

The Vikings now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Timberline for a 6A Southern Idaho bout on Thursday, October 2. Middleton will encounter a Wolves team coming off a 50-19 league win over Capital (Boise, ID). The Wolves record now stands at 5-0.
