In Friday's non-league game, the Owyhee Storm (Meridian, ID) football squad tipped the host Meridian Warriors (Meridian, ID), by a margin of 27-23.

The Storm now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Borah for a 6A Central Idaho outing on Thursday, September 18. Owyhee will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 55-7 non-league loss to Capital (Boise, ID). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Meridian drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Timberline (Boise, ID) to clash with the Wolves in a 6A Southern Idaho outing on Friday, September 19. The Wolves enter the game with a record of 3-0. Timberline won 20-13 in their recent non-league game against Boise (Boise, ID)
