September 26, 2025: New Castle, PA 16101

The Mohawk Area Warriors edged the host Union Area Scotties football team by a score of 28-21 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors face the New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA) in a WPIAL AA Midwestern outing, on Friday, October 3. Mohawk Area will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Lions come into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 14-12 league win over Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA).

With the defeat, Union Area drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Scotties travel to Freedom Area (Freedom, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a WPIAL AA Midwestern game on Friday, October 10. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 3-3.
