Illinois High School Football - Pontiac overwhelmed by Tolono Unity

September 26, 2025: Tolono, IL 61880

The Tolono Unity Rockets walloped the visiting Pontiac Indians football team by a score of 47-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Rockets face the Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) in a Illini Prairie challenge, on Friday, October 3. Tolono Unity will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 20-14 league win over Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL).

The Indians (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Eagles come into the Illini Prairie outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Rantoul was overwhelmed by St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL), 49-14, in a league outing.
