The Prairie Central Hawks football team (Fairbury, IL), was crushed 46-7 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL)

With the win, Tolono Unity advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Rockets host Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL) to confront the Panthers in a Illini Prairie match on Friday, October 10. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 3-3. Paxton-Buckley-Loda won 38-30 in their recent league match against Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL)

Coming up next, the Hawks confront the Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL) in a Illini Prairie match, on Friday, October 10. Prairie Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 0-6 record after their 42-22 league loss to Pontiac (Pontiac, IL).
