Pennsylvania High School Football - Scranton Prep trounces Wallenpaupack Area
September 26, 2025: Hawley, PA 18428 In Friday's league match, the visiting Scranton Prep Cavaliers football squad scored a decisive 37-0 victory over the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns.
The Cavaliers (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Comets enter the Lackawanna 1 match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Abington Heights was routed by Delaware Valley (Milford, PA), 28-14, in a league match.
Next up, the Buckhorns play the Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 battle, on Friday, October 3. Wallenpaupack Area will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 28-0 league loss to Valley View (Archbald, PA).
