The Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) football were winner over the visiting Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), 28-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Cougars now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Pocono for a Lackawanna 1 outing on Friday, October 3. Valley View will face a Trojans team coming off a 35-14 non-league win over Dallas (Dallas, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-0.
