The St. Thomas Catholic Eagles football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting St. Pius X Panthers to 6 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Catholic for a TAPPS Division I District 2 test on Friday, October 3. St. Thomas Catholic will meet a Buttons squad coming off a 53-21 league win over Savio (Austin, TX). The Buttons record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, St. Pius X drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX) to meet the Crusaders in a TAPPS Division I District 2 test on Friday, October 3.
