California High School Football - Merced tops Enochs
September 26, 2025: Modesto, CA 95355 The Merced Bears football team scored 35 points and restricted the host Enochs Eagles to 12 in the Bears non-league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Bears face the Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, October 3. Merced will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 14-12 non-league win over Kimball (Tracy, CA).
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Turlock (Turlock, CA). The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Turlock toppled Clovis West (Fresno, CA), 30-8, in a non-league challenge.
