In Friday's league bout, the China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) volleyball team knocked off the host Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX), by a margin of 3-1.

The Cougars now possess a 18-13 record. They play next when they travel to La Vega for a 4A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, September 30. China Spring will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lorena (Lorena, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 17-6.
