Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Waller Bulldogs (Waller, TX) and the host Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX), observed Waller's volleyball team overcome Cypress Springs by a tally of 3-0.

The Bulldogs (24-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region II District 16 challenge with a 5-22 record. In their last challenge, Cypress Park lost by Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Cypress Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 10-23 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 10-25 record after their 3-0 league loss to Langham Creek (Houston, TX).
