With the win, Thoreau improves its record to 3-6 on the season. The Hawks travel to Window Rock (Fort Defiance, AZ) to encounter the Fighting Scouts in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. The Fighting Scouts go into the battle with a record of 10-4. Window Rock lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM)
The Pirates now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinon for a 2A - North battle on Monday, September 29. Valley will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Round Valley (Eagar, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
