North Carolina High School Soccer - Concord Academy knocks off Hickory Grove Christian
September 27, 2022: Concord, NC 28027 Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles face the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Concord Academy will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 6-3 league loss to SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC).
The Lions now have a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they host Gaston Day for a NCISAA Metrolina challenge on Tuesday, October 4. Hickory Grove Christian will face a Spartans team coming off a 5-1 league win over Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC). The Spartans record now stands at 10-2.
