Georgia High School Softball - Portal bounces Bulloch Academy
September 27, 2022: Statesboro, GA 30458 Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bulloch Academy Gators (Statesboro, GA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wheeler County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 28. Portal will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-12.
With the loss, Bulloch Academy falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Gators host Calvary Day (Savannah, GA) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 3. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 4-6.
