In Tuesday's league contest, the Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Liberty Christian Academy Knights (Fayetteville, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Defenders face the Temple Christian Tigers (Rockingham, NC) in a CCAA contest, on Monday, October 3. Christ the Cornerstone Academy will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mintz Christian Academy (Roseboro, NC).
